WHAT IS A HACKATHON?
A Hackathon is an event where people get together and develop awesome products, ideas or solutions in a short time span. Often held over 24-48 hours, these events are designed for the ultimate in collaboration, usually with a prize offered to the winning team.
WHO WILL BE INVOLVED?
A range of people from all walks, including farmers, academics, developers, industry bodies and the corporate sector.

CAN I TAKE PART?
Yes! We are looking for representatives from industry bodies, relevant businesses, academics, local tech companies, agronomists, design thinkers, farmers, farmers' families and more. If you are interested in being a part of an event that will help to shape the future of agriculture in Australia, apply to take part here.
DO I NEED TO BE PART OF A TEAM?
No, you can submit an individual or team registration. If you are an individual, we will match you up with other individuals to create a team.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
There is no cost to participate in this event. Travel and accommodation will be at the participants own cost.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
There are several prizes to be won! Our Wagga 2017 prize pool was $5,000.
HOW DO I GET TO WAGGA WAGGA?
Wagga Wagga is a short detour off the Hume Highway, about half way between Sydney and Melbourne.
